Aime Kayumba
Aime Kayumba is the Founder and CEO of the Rural Development Initiative (RDI), an NGO that works to transform subsistence agriculture into market-oriented agriculture for smallholder farmers. Through training and market connections, RDI empowers farmers to increase their profits and resilience against price shocks. Aime holds a degree in Rural Development and Agribusiness from the University of Rwanda (UR/CAVM), formerly ISAE. He also holds a Master’s degree in International Development Administration from Andrews University. For over a decade, he has led RDI in securing funding and collaborating with diverse partners and donors, including the European Union in Rwanda, Segal Family Foundation, TERRAFUND, EUCORD, VSO, and the Rwanda TVET Board etc…, to implement successful agricultural and livelihood projects.
Samantha Gogol Lint
Samantha Gogol Lint is an American attorney with a focus on international law, human rights, and women’s rights. Samantha’s legal experience spans civil society, government, and international organizations and includes advisory work, advocacy, and litigation. Prior to practicing law, Samantha worked in international development and global health, including working and conducting research in Rwanda. Samantha earned her law degree from Harvard Law School, where she was Co-President of HLS Advocates for Human Rights. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond where she studied International Studies, French, and Gender Studies.
Viateur Muragijerurema
Viateur Muragijerurema, a Rwandan advocate and the Executive Director of the Kigali Hope Organization (KHO), has dedicated his career to supporting vulnerable young people, particularly those living with HIV in Rwanda. With over a decade of experience working with various donors and partners like the Global Fund, Aids Health Foundation, UN Women, UNAIDS, UNESCO, and Plan International, his commitment to this cause is evident.
Jean Pierre
Jean Pierre is a Program Management & result-oriented development professional with a proven record within NGOs and Civil Society organizations leading programing in the areas of livelihood, women’s empowerment, education and institutional capacity development. He brings more than 12 years of experience managing community development projects with a vast experience managing USAID Funded Projects. Jean Pierre is Certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) and holds a Master of Business Administration with a major in Finance from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), and a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) in Business Studies with Education. Jean Pierre currently serves as the Project Director for the USAID Funded Scaling Sustainable Poverty Graduation Project in Rwanda at Village Enterprise and previously served as the Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) at Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA Rwanda) and served the organization for 10 years in different capacities. During his free time, he enjoys music and watching games (Basketball and Football). He also enjoys giving back to the community through diverse community-based initiatives.
